Nodda yet 
Sigh, still no functional map extraction/compiler yet. I began transferring over core functions and getting our source ready to transfer in the data. I have the 4.3 maps already but I really need the reader and compiler more than the extractor. Plus, the extractor would be nice in case we need to update to another minor revision.

I've done these things on my own before for other patches but obviously the original author for the core would know more about it and get it done properly. I've got enough things to worry about as it is.

On a side note, my friend is putting out some really awesome 3d artwork for my personal android I guess I'll have to start taking it seriously now. Completely unrelated to the server but..I'm excited about it and don't have any where else to write about it.

My basic Mojo Mobile app has a whopping 325 downloads..heh. Not bad for what it is I suppose. Wrote it for ourselves to use anyway...only uploaded it so I didn't have to keep transferring it over bluetooth to everyone.

I hate cold season...every time I think I've slipped by I get something. Map extractor still isn't working right yet but I have everything set for when it is.

I really hope this isn't the flu...but it feels like it.

Well, 4.3 15211 support is just about finished. Still having issues extracting the maps properly but all the other data files are working. Once maps are working right, I can finally do work on 4.3. Been holding off on bug fixing until this is working because I'm going to have to manually transfer all of our thousands of bug fixes into the new core.

Will keep everyone posted when there's more to report.

Restarted DA/KA to put in some fixes along with changes to DR.

Not much to report..still working out new patch updates and got a lot of personal stuff going on.

Added fixes for CC ability Diminishing Returns in PvP. This includes their 8 seconds uptime in PvP (as of 4.0.6a). This fix was already in the core but I think there was a mistake on one of the lines from core devs. I've updated it.

If it's not fixed on next restart, it will need more debugging to figure out why DR isn't getting called.

Just an update on what's going on here. Not much to report on the server..still trying to crunch out these numbers and figure out how to get the latest patch working.

Been working on a couple projects around my house that have needed attention and a mobile app that I've been wanting to do forever. Not much else to do for the server until I can work out the patch issues. If you're curious about the app, you can load it from here. It's built specifically for my phone (Optimus S) and android 2.1. So, don't expect it to look right on your phone. I used to play Momir/Jhoira Basic on MTG Online and wanted a way to play it in real, I built an app that queries Wizard's Gatherer API and pulls random cards using the rules from the Momir/Jhoira Vanguard. It has options to go to previous (Menu button) and next (Back button) cards and an option to clear the cache to start over (Search button). Purely an app just for me..but..whatever =P

So far the issues with 4.3+ come down to the extractors for data files being horrible broken/out of date and the opcodes being completely wrong. Not much good getting the latest patch loaded if you can't even speak..cast spells..or talk to NPCs..heh. There are other cores with more working for 4.3 but they have less working in other core elements or stability issues. It's not ready.

I'm sure either I or the core devs will figure it out eventually. I'll probably start back on our bug reports here soon if nothing gets figured out.

Server outage 
Sorry, the linux box that handles the web and login servers overheated and took a dump.

Pulled it apart, cleaned, and oiled the motors. Should be good to go so long as none of the motors are bad in the fans. We can hope..

Launcher Update 
Ash has updated the launcher to include the new MPQ file with the custom item changes. Grab it. Your current launcher should tell you there's a new one and allow you to download it. Otherwise, you can find it in our Play! guide on the main website.

No matter what I try here..something is always f-ed up. One method dbc's are out of sync..the other method players don't show up properly. Yet another method fixes both of those but then crashes every 10 minutes.

It's just not ready yet...going to have to postpone 4.3 until it's more just isn't working properly yet.

I'll keep working on it..but I'm not going to put something in that isn't just won't happen. Hopefully, I can work out the bugs with some testing.

I took a look around at some of the other server cores and other places with 4.2/4.3 and none of them are doing it properly yet. It's all either a hacked up 4.0, 4.2 with dbc issues, 4.3 with missing data/packets, or a slew of other issues. None of them are at a true level of functionality and stability. Hoping the new year brings in some better coding...but I doubt it.

I can run it with 4.2 or 15005..but I don't see the point in doing all the upgrade work needed when it's not even going to be the latest..and will set us back in terms of bugs further than we are already. Not worth it yet.

Well, I had it working with 15050 but I found a way to keep our updates and move to a more updated I'm going to try going down that route that we can keep our custom fixes and changes easier.

Holding off on putting up test for now. I much prefer this other core since it's based on some earlier version that run more stable than the latest.

Compiling this new one then going to bring it up and see what it's like...vmaps and dbc are still recompiling anyway. Can run it with my 15005 ones but might as well get the latest.
